The history of TriStar vacuum cleaners begins in the 1940s with a company called Interstate Engineering Corporation, or IEC. IEC designed and manufactured the Compact vacuum, which was the first vacuum cleaner to feature a brushroll, a feature that would become standard on most vacuum cleaners. IEC also designed and manufactured the first upright vacuum cleaner, which was introduced in 1953.

Q: The only numbers I find are A101 and E00641-J.Will this hose fit my vacuum?
