Electrolux Canister Vacuum Cleaner Bag Lock Out Valve Fits Electrolux Canister Models LE, Epic 6500, 7000, 2100 and other models which has a selector knob on the top of the machine. This includes models like C102A, C102D, C102G, C102J, C153C, C153D, C101K, C141C, C141E, C141G, C152B, C152C, C102K, C153A, C154, C154, 6500, 6500SR, etc
If your vacuum cuts power and shuts off even when the bag is not even full, you would then need to replace this part.

1. Open and remove the back cover


2. Remove the bottom cover


3. Locate the pvc tube which connect to the valve and run on and over bag chamber. It is a good idea to label it using a sticky tag as you will need to put them back in same way to the new valve


4. Pull the tube out softly from the valve


5. Remove the bag chamber. You can now see the valve attached to the housing


6. Remove the bag valve from the housing


7. Carefully remove the other tubes from the valve. You can use a small plier but do not give it much force down so that the tubes do not get damaged


8. Label the tubes to remember where each tube goes on valve


9. Attach the tubes to the new valve


10. Carefully put the valve down into the housing


11. You may hear a clicking sound when it gets seated on the housing properly


12. Put back the third tube which you removed in step 3.


13. Put back the bag chamber


14. Reassemble the vacuum
