Please note that this agitator has been revised and improved by the manufacturer. The new design is much more efficient to combat the problem of hair and debris collection around the bearings, causing overheating. All other performance features of the agitator are unchanged. The original agitator had a black grooved pulley for the belt to ride on as seen above in picture # 4. On the newer better version, sold in this listing, the belt rides directly on the wooden dowel as seen above, in picture # 2

Q: My powerhead part number is 116.55915500. It looks different than the picture. The belt is driven about 1 1/2 inches in from one end. best regards.
A: I often see this question. The original roller used to come with a belt track at one end. This was redesigned many years back to the current version where it is a wood roller without any plastic/nylon belt track. Now the belt just rides on top of the roller on one side. Please check the additional images for more details. This will work for 116.55915500
