This is the motor filter which goes behind the bag when you lift the hood. Protects the motor from dust and debris. This filter should be changed once every 3 months for the vacuum to keep running smooth. Fits all Kenmore Canisters using bag 51195 including Magic Blue DX 721.21195000, 721.23295200. Approximately 4 1/2” x 5 1/2” filter
