
Rainbow/Rexair Cord Assy. for E2, E2 Type 12, E6 Canister Vacuums

The black 3-wire Rainbow/Rexair 2 speed main power cord assembly is designed to fit E2/E6 canister vacuums. This comes with the circuit plug and the actual grommet is not rounded like the prior models.

In June 2016, the strain relief was increased to help prevent a short circuit.
New Design has 2.58 Inches (2 19/32, 65.69 mm) where as the Original Design length was 2.01 Inches (2 1/64, 51.12 mm)
Details
- Utilize a miniature flat screwdriver to detach the interlock switch harness from the main power switch harness by inserting the flat blade into the small hole in the harness to release and flatten the clip holding it in place.
- An alternative solution is to acquire the R12145 harness and merge it with the electric cord for a seamless setup, eliminating the necessity of the previous step.
- As of June 2016, the strain relief has been enhanced to reduce the likelihood of a short circuit.
